Frontline Outreach has partnered with Youth Empowerment Project, Inc. (YEP) as the entrepreneurship arm of this community center. Youth Empowerment Project is a non-profit 501(c)3 organizations that exist to expose, equip and empower youth and young adults to success through career exploration field trips, professional development training, entrepreneurship training and paid internships. YEP is an after-school program that currently meets every Monday & Wednesday from 5PM - 8PM and participates in open gym on Fridays 6pm-9pm. Our character education program is based on Christian principles surrounding leadership and service. Along the way, we will empower families to be their child’s lifelong advocate for learning.
This component is not only vital for the success of the urban community but critical for the economic success of America. We must create a different mindset for our youth from job takers to job makers. Our entrepreneurship program will promote awareness among young people of the opportunities and challenges of entrepreneurship and self-employment, and of their role in shaping their future and that of their community’s economic and social development.
